Buckley & Hutchings, LLC has been serving the Kansas City area since 2008. We are dedicated to our clients and committed to gaining a positive outcome for each person that walks through our doors. We are also committed to bettering the community through volunteerism. B&H continues to work with the U.S. Marine Corps collecting Toys for Tots to make sure every child has a gift under the tree. Also, Sarah Buckley and Alexandra Hutchings actively participate in the UMKC incubator program helping law students with an interest in solo and small firm practice realize their goals.
Sarah Buckley
Sarah Buckley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology with a minor in Sociology from Ball State University in 2003 and her Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2008. Sarah was admitted into practice in Missouri in 2008 and in Kansas in 2009. Sarah is also admitted to practice in Federal Court for the Western District of Missouri. She is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Clay County Bar Association. When she is away from the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family.
Alexandra Hutchings
Alexandra Hutchings earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Economics from William Jewell College in 2005 and her Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2008. Alexandra was admitted into practice in Missouri in 2008. She is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Clay County Bar Association and is also a certified Guardian Ad Litem. Alex is a long-time Kansas City resident who enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and training for the triathlon season. In 2009 Alex was appointed to a 4 year term on the Kansas City Human Resources Appeal Board and is the acting chairwoman.
Lara McCracken
Lara McCracken is our office administrator. She has been with B&H since January 2011. Lara is an integral part of the office and will answer any questions you have when you call. She obtained her Associates of Applied Science degree from Colorado Technical University in 2006 and her Bachelor of Science from Park University in 2010. Lara enjoys reading good books, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends.
